5 Glass Jewelry Design Techniques Workshop

$205.00 $185.00

Learn to design and create five (5) unique jewelry pieces using a variety of fusible glass, including dichroic, to treasure, gift, or sell.

Students will learn to safely cut glass then assemble each piece for firing in the kiln. Below is a list of the five (5) jewelry design techniques:

  1. "Hole-In-One" - this technique does not require a bail and the design can be strung with chain or textile.
  2. "Mosaic" - this technique consists of chopped dichroic glass of various shapes and colors.
  3. "Sandblasted Artwork" - this technique allows you to select artwork to be sandblasted (sand etched) into your glass using a Cricut or Silhouette cutting machine.
  4. "Channel & Wire Jewelry" - this technique creates a channel around the glass for insertion of beading wire.
  5. "Drill-a-Hole" - this technique uses a Dremel to create a hole in which to secure a jump ring.

TUITION includes all materials, equipment, and glass for five (5) glass jewelry design techniques, along with bails where applicable, beading wire for wire-wrapping, and one .925 sterling silver chain.
